Summer Activities

Swimming:

During the heat of the spring and summer months we offer our guests the use of our two, heated out-door pools.  The family pool is located below the fitness center and the smaller, adults only pool is located up behind the Millennium wing of the Lodge.

Walking & hiking:
Through the meadows and down our country roads offer a slow pace to enjoy the breathtaking views and lush greenery of our beautiful mountain resort. There are over 60 kilometers of wooded hiking trails for all levels of ability. It is a short, peaceful hike to the Chapel, built by the Trapp family sons on their return home after World War II. A more challenging hike takes you to the Slayton Pasture Cabin, a favorite resting spot for cross-country skiers in the winter.  Guided nature walks are available to guests and teach them about native plants, wildlife and the evolving landscape. In the Stowe area, you can choose from numerous hiking trails including the Long Trail that runs over Mount Mansfield (Vermont's highest peak), Stowe Pinnacle and Hunger Mountain.
